The “Running Turtle” produces independent belarusian films and promotes them in- and outside of the country. We deal with films which influence development of cultural, social and educational aspects of human life.
Our films have participated and won awards at multiple international film festivals. In particular, our films are in the catalogue of Clermont-Ferrand IFF (France) of 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and the catalogue of Jihlava IFFl of 2017 (Czech Republic).
The “Running Turtle” is a regular participant of Listapad International Film Festival (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019). In 2016 our film “Dead Souls” (facebook.com/dushymertvye) won the national contest of Listapad IFF (Belarus) and Best Europe Shot award at Independent Days IFF in Karlsruhe (Germany).
The Internet-TV series “Formula of Humanity” tells 12 real stories, each of which deserves to become a separate film. How to stay human under inhumane conditions, and what exactly makes us human that helps to overcome seemingly insurmountable circumstances. The project was carried out as part of the humanitarian program “Meeting point: Dialogue” with the support of the German Federal Foundation “Erinnerung, Verantwortung, Zukunft“ („Remembrance, Responsibility, Future“) and the International Public Association “Mutual Understanding”.

An experimental film in which the director tries to show the world through the eyes of a person with personality disorders. It is made as a puzzle: only after seeing the last frames it becomes clear what this story is about. The film was created in order to attract attention to the problems of people with mental disorders, who in Belarus account for 15%.
